Ginisang Mani (deep-fried peanuts w/ garlic)

Category:Other
Style:Other

Ingredients:
- peanuts (i bought the roasted ones that still has shells and just took the shells off)
- garlic (lots of them)
- oil (enough for deep-frying the peanuts)
- salt

Directions:
1.slice garlic vertically (to retain the oval shape)

2. heat oil in medium-high heat for several minutes

3. while heating the oil, open windows, turn on your ionizer (if you have it) and light some scented candles... i love the smell of garlic but if you don't want your entire apartment to smell like garlic, yeah, do step 3..

4. drop in the garlic until the garlic is translucent

5. drop in the peanuts next....

6. continue stirring

7. when you notice a change of color on the peanuts scoop it up with a strainer

8. placed it on paper towels and let them cool off a bit

9. look for a container with a lid and pour in the peanuts and salt and shake the container to distribute the salt

that's it! enjoy!

Side Story:
i miss this....my dad love these peanuts and he would ask me to buy him some whenever i go out at night.... you will usually find this on side streets with different variations - "hubad" or non-hubad, "maanghang" or not....anyway, here's the recipe
