Side Story:
weekend nights are usually my cooking moments........ because i can stay up late and i don't have to worry about oversleeping and missing my free shuttle to the train station......... and tonight i was in the mood for some honey walnut shrimp.........i have bought the ingredients a couple of weeks ago so i guess it's time i take them all out of the kitchen cabinets---and freezer.......

so here you go....the honey walnut shrimp.....

the first time i tasted this dish was when one of my co-SFC ordered it one late dinner after our friday CLP at mai lai wah, a chinese resto at china town in center city philly ......... i liked it and i was wondering how the sauce was done and was playing guessing games with myself on what the ingredients might be, lol........ i remember a black friend who would make fun of the way i eat because he said he can see from the expression on my face that i am trying to figure out what the ingredients are.......... he said it's the way i chew and the way my eyes looked, lol......... i digress........... fortunately, i saw the recipe of honey walnut shrimp while i was browsing thru a friend's blog (popcorn, thanks! i saw it on your foodie blog).....

so without further adieu here's the recipe.........
